Privacy Policy

We design tools so that tool inputs and uploads are not required to leave your device. We aim to collect only what is needed to operate the website (for example, delivering pages and remembering your privacy preferences).

We do not require an account to use tools. We do not sell personal information.

Tool inputs & files (client-side tools): Processed in your browser. Not transmitted to ToolsForgeLabs servers for calculation/conversion when the tool is client-side.

Dynamic QR / link-in-bio destinations: When you create a dynamic destination while signed in, we store the short-code mapping (destination URL or link list, ownership, and basic open counts) so redirects, edits, and your dashboard work. Keep your account credentials private.

Account data: If you create a ToolsForgeLabs account, we store your email address and a hashed password (never plaintext). Account emails (security, password reset, verification) are transactional. Marketing/newsletter email is optional and requires separate consent — creating an account does not enroll you in marketing by default.

Account deletion: You may request deletion via account settings flows or by contacting privacy@toolsforgelabs.com. We soft-delete account records and remove the email index so the address can be re-registered.

Essential site storage: Preference data such as theme and cookie-consent choices stored in your browser (localStorage/cookies as applicable).

Server/hosting logs (if enabled by hosting): Technical request metadata (IP, timestamp, URL, user agent). Retention depends on the host; see Data Retention.

Optional analytics (only with consent): Aggregated or pseudonymous usage events (for example tool page views). Not enabled until you opt in via the cookie banner.

Communications you send: If you email us (privacy, legal, DMCA, security), we process the content of that message to respond.

Depending on context: legitimate interests (secure site operation), consent (optional analytics/ads), and/or contractual necessity (responding to requests you initiate). See also GDPR Privacy Rights.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or port personal data, and to withdraw consent. California residents: see our California Privacy Notice.

Submit requests to privacy@toolsforgelabs.com. We may need to verify your request. You may also contact a supervisory authority where applicable.

The site is not directed to children under 16 (or lower age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Hosting and email providers may process data in different countries. We use reputable providers and apply access controls appropriate to a static tools site.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Report suspected vulnerabilities to security@toolsforgelabs.com.

Hosting/CDN and email providers process data as needed to deliver the site and communications.

Analytics and advertising partners are not loaded unless you consent to those categories. If we enable ads later, they will remain consent-gated and disclosed here and in the Cookie Policy.

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change. Continued use after updates constitutes notice of the revised policy where permitted by law.
